Privacy and your enquiry
Updated 13 October 2026
This notice explains how information is handled when you visit practicallogic.com.au, use the optional AI feedback feature or contact Practical Logic.
Who operates this website
This website and its enquiry service are operated by Safeguard Security Group Pty Ltd (ABN 53 085 651 850, ACN 085 651 850). References to “we”, “us” and “our” in this notice mean that company.
Who to contact
For questions about your information, contact Joe at hello@practicallogic.com.au, or write to Practical Logic, Level 1, 346 Ferntree Gully Road, Notting Hill, Victoria, Australia.
Information you provide
The enquiry form collects your name, email address, message or reviewed brief, and any business name, phone number, desired outcome, systems information and meeting preference you choose to provide. Please leave out passwords, confidential customer records and sensitive personal information.
We use this information to understand and respond to your enquiry, arrange a conversation where appropriate, and keep a record of our correspondence. Submitting a form does not book a meeting or commit you to paid work.
Optional AI feedback
If you select “Get a useful starting point”, your description, chosen topic and any outcome or systems details are sent to OpenAI to generate a draft. This happens before you send your enquiry to Joe. The separate name, email and phone fields are not included in that AI request. Anything you put in your description is included, so avoid identifying or confidential details.
You can edit the draft before sending it. AI can make mistakes; its suggestions are for discussion and are not a confirmed solution or quote. Select “Continue without AI”, “Just contact Joe”, or email us directly if you do not want your description processed by this AI feature.
OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models by default. This is not a promise of zero retention: provider processing and retention rules still apply. See OpenAI’s business-data privacy information.
Storage and service providers
Submitted enquiries are stored in our WordPress website using Fluent Forms on Hostinger hosting. Notifications and correspondence are handled through our Microsoft 365 email service. Your reviewed enquiry is included in the acknowledgement sent to the email address you enter, so check that address carefully.
Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect the form and AI requests from automated abuse. It processes technical browser and network information for security checks. Our website and providers may also record IP addresses, request details and diagnostic logs needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.
These providers may process information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where they and their service providers operate. Processing locations depend on the service and account configuration. We do not represent that all enquiry information stays in Australia.
Cookies and technical information
The website uses technical mechanisms needed for form operation, administration, caching and security. Cloudflare’s checks may use browser signals and local storage. Third-party services apply their own privacy practices; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy, Hostinger’s privacy policy and Microsoft’s privacy statement.
Retention and your choices
Enquiries and related correspondence are kept for handling the enquiry, follow-up and relevant business records. There is currently no fixed automatic deletion period for website enquiries. Provider logs and backups may have separate retention periods.
You can ask us to access, correct or delete information we hold about you by emailing the address above. We may need to verify your identity. We will review your request and explain any information that needs to be retained for legal, security or legitimate record-keeping reasons.
Privacy concerns
If you have a concern, email Joe with the relevant details. We will review the concern, seek any information needed and respond about the outcome and next steps. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner for information about privacy complaints.
This notice may be updated when our services or information-handling practices change.
